Now see, when I saw this topic, I thought it literally meant you were having a party, or knew of one.

I am disappointed, though totally willing to join an official Anti-Progressive party.

Is this something Glenn has been advocating? I haven't had time to watch his show since early last week. Work after work & all that fun stuff.

I don't know what Glenn's position is, but I have to side with Limbaugh on this one. People have been trying for the last 100 years to add a viable third party to the system. It doesn't work. It would be so much easier instead to RETURN the Republican party to its roots in conservative principles and drive out all the progressive-minded moderates.

I do think it's possible to be a moderate in the sense of "fiscally conservative and morally moderate" -- and that can even be a good philosophy with which to lead -- but today's moderates (Republican AND Democrat) are more concerned with appeasement of the other side than they are of doing what's right for the country and the people.

Rush has also been saying that the moderates on both sides are worthless because they just follow the flow of the majority. If a third party were to ever emerge, I believe it would happen so as so many people are disenfranchised with both parties right now.

I agree that the GOP can be salvaged but its really hard with the morons you have in there right now. I think they should all be voted out except the Freshman class. I like a lot of those guys (on both sides) & believe they should be given the chance to prove themselves. Everyone else should go, period.
