This is for Daniel & anyone else who wants to hit a CBJ game before the season is done. I recomend them to anyone who is a sports fan. I'm a HUGE Jackets fan now. Hockey is pretty awesome, not quiet as good as football but its still pretty sweet.

We can get cheaper tickets ($10-$20) so that no one is out too much but the seats will be up high. Not that theres a bad seat at Nationwide.

So this is the thread to figure out who wants to go & then what date to go.

Adam, I will ask at work an see if we get an discount on tickets for CBJ games. I don't know. I would be willing to go. I haven't ever been to a sport event, might be interesting.

Well, for me, any of the first 4 dates in March would be fine. I'm ok with cheap seats.

Honestly, I don't really know an awful lot about the finer-points of hockey, but it looks like it would be a blast. If I could just ice-skate, I'd even try to play it!! (Happy Gilmore?)

These are what Daniel can go to. Anyone who's interested let me know by this weekend if you want to go. Dana has excluded himself from this event for attempting to use hockey as an insult. I say attempted because he failed. lol.

UPDATE: The game against the Lightnight on Sunday the 9th would be good. I can get an extra $10 off by using a Wendy's code. I saw it on my chilli for lunch today. Just looked it up. So we could do that.

THIS is when Daniel wants to go. I looked up cheap tickets & they aren't available. So we could go early, early on that Friday & try to get the Hunnington Green tickets. They $10 each but sell before the games. So its first come first serve. Other than that we'll be paying more than $20. Either they're sold out (which I don't see why they would be) or ticketmaster is messed up.

Anyway, I need to know TODAY if you are interested. I wanna get this taken care of & out of da way!

ya know...forget it. We'll just plan on getting the Hunnington seats. That means we gots ta be AT the arena by 6:00! I say Dan & Stacey meet at Dana's & we cram in their van. That way we can split parking for only 1 vehicle.

Update:

I'll be calling everyone on the 13th to see who's going. You can post here before then to let me know but since only Dan & Stacey have confirmed I'll just call.

Green seats should be $10. If the wife is in town (which she prob won't be) she'll go pick up the tickets for us so that we don't have to be down there as early. If she can't I need to know if Jared can. If he can't then maybe my cousin Ann can. Lemme know.

sweet J! However, Daniel doesn't want to spend too much money so unless the tickets are like $20 (I think that was his limit...I don't remember though) then he probably won't be interested.

$10 is a good deal for where we will be sitting. I've never sat there but anyone in Nationwide is a good seat.

I was going to call everyone but as of right now it looks like it'll just be you, me & Stacy.

Ry is going to run down to the Arena to pick up the tickets at 5. Then I'm going to meet her for dinner somewhere. If you want to join that should be fine. Just let me know if you want to. Then I can ride down to the arena with you after dinner & we can park wherever. Arena Grand is just as good and close as them all really. It should be $10. The outdoor parking lot next to the Arena is $15.

So thats the plan. If anyone else wants to come, I need to know on Thurs night so tell me by then or miss out.
