So I'm testing the waters to see when a majority of us can get together (hopefully weekly) & play TF2 for a night. So post whatever days you are available to do this.

If the server can be accessed from over the internet, I could do it just about everynight except for Monday and Wednesday nights.

Saturday really sounds the best...there's never anything on TV anyway, and we can go as late as we like.

One note about Steam: I am totally a Steam voice-chatter now. In an FPS, I don't have time to click a push-to-talk key, so plan on using that. Of course, I'll use Vent for other stuff, but if we're on TF, get in that chat system.

well, just so you know Damin, vent has the option of going no button click. Last time I was one with Jared & Ryan...I used this feature because I had come so used to the steam style of voice chat. Its the exact same except that its awesome quality instead of pewp quality like steams is.

Ventrilo has always had an "auto-detect" feature. We just never used it in SWG because it picks up just about any noise you make.

Saturdays are good as long as we are doing anything (ie. movies watching or stuff).

Okay, upgraded Vent and activated voice detect. However, nobody was on to test it with.

I'm curious if there is lag with this, where it doesn't pick up your voice until a half-second or so of speech, cutting parts off. It sure seemed to pick up slowly.

I decreased the sensetivity from 60 to 10, and it picks up basically everything over breathing/sniffling, which is good, but if there is lag, I'd still prefer steam. I'll have to wait and see how it works w/you guys online.

The quality is way better...so if it works well, I'm game.

Gonna try tomorrow night (11/24) @ 8PM for the TF2 night. We'll attempt to use the HOZ server. If we can't get into it we'll just join some net server. I'll be gone this night, not sure when I'll return. I'll be sure to hop on when I do though. KTHO! PWN YA THAR!

Meet on vent @ 7PM y'all! We'll try the HoZ server first & if that don't work we'll just jump on the netz.

Alex and I will both be out for the 1st, we have our Christmas parties for our guard units, including some poker games.

I'm in for future weeks, of course, and I play often during the week.
