Didn't hear anything about it until I turned on RAW tonight...wondering what the hell is going on...

This is sad that one of the greatest wrestlers alive is now dead, and CNN is saying that the authorities are treating this case as a homicide.

Benoit apparently strangled Nancy & his son sometime on Sunday probably & then hung himself in his own weight-room on Monday. I was IN Atlanta on Monday returning home from vacation, which is a tad weird.

I gotta say...if this is all true...I just can't put into words how sad and angry I am at the same time. However, the conspiracy theorist in me wants to believe that this is a triple murder being framed on Chris cuz any wrestling fan knows how good a guy Benoit was. He always seemed calm, loved his family forever & now suddenly snaps & kills his family?! I smell a rat. He's never been a drug guy so you can count that out. Was it the work schedule?! Was Woman (Nancy) cheating on him?! I just don't know. I'm just sick inside from all of this.

Everything I've ever learned about Chris Benoit is SCREAMING at me that something just doesn't add up here... except that Nancy filed for divorce in 2003, citing threats of violence. She later retracted that and they stayed married.

I honestly don't know what to believe -- I regarded Benoit as heroic in wrestling for being A) a good person and B) a good family man despite the rigors of the business. Now I'm being told he strangled his wife and smothered his little 7 year-old boy who, by all acounts, idolized him. Then I'm being told he hung himself a day or two later.

There's a column on LoP right now that pretty much describes what's going thru my head. I'm praying that the cops have gotten it all wrong, but with every passing hour more details come out that point at Chris.

If I were a drinker, I think I'd get drunk tonight.

It's still not adding up for me either...it just doesn't jive with everything we've heard about Chris. Apparently there is some speculation that maybe the wife killed the son, Chris came home, found out, killed the wife and then hung himself. That sounds a little more plausible to me, but still...

I'm not one to be suspicious of a police investigation myself, but this just doesn't make sense.

I'm sick of talking about this but I'll add this.

Whowever updated the Wiki page, came forward & said that they read a false report on one of the dirt sheets & they uploaded the info onto the wiki even tho it was verified. with Sheri dying the week before they must have just figured it was real.

It seems Benoit was just a sick freak brewing for a couple of weeks about stuff. Between roids, his crazy life at home & the mix of alchol (which is NEVER GOOD with any meds) he just snapped! Its a shame and terribly horrific in every way.

Get me a time machine please.
