I know that Damin & I are wanting to set up teams. 2v2, 3v3, 5v5. Every person can be on one of each team. Each team can have up to double the members to fill incase someone can't make it. So, I'd love to get some teams developed here. We'll need names for the teams too. To make a team 2v2 is 80g & 5v5 is 200g. So, people will need to split the costs. I'll gladly pay for an entire team if need be.
So I know Damin & Todd want to have their own 2v2. Maybe 2 of us should join them as well.
5v5 I think should be Todd, Damin, J, Josh, Alex, myself & whoever else we can get, maybe Cas will want to. Remember, we can have 10 people!
Ok, time for feedback. More discussion is required! _________________

It's a bit early, but here are my thoughts on the teams:
5 vs. 5, I think everyone even slightly interested should join. We probably couldn't get 10 if we tried, so I figure Adam, Myself, Todd, Jared, Josh, and Alex are probably our safe 6. If anyone else (like Cas, or maybe a Dodd turned Hordie ) wants to join, then we have 4 open slots.
2 vs. 2, I totally don't want to sound like a prude, but I think it would be better to form several small teams instead of four of us forming one. In such quick matches as these, I want to have my strategy down pat...frankly, it's easier in that case dealing with just one other person. Simply put, it should be no big deal for say Todd and I to get enough games in each week, same for the rest of you, no matter how you pair up. Or if you four aren't as sure of scheduling, make a team with J, Josh, Alex and Adam, and then Todd and I will solo it. I think we should field at least two separate teams for this one.
3 vs. 3 is actually the one I care the least about. I'm game for anything, so the six of us can just straight up make a team if you want. I'm willing to split the cost on any of the teams, no problems here.
As for naming them...I'm definitely willing to entertain suggestions. I do think we should call the 5 man team "Mortal Coil", just for the hell of it, but it's up to y'all. |

Ok, well Mortal Coil for the 5 man is a great name.
If y'all dont want a 3 man team I'll find someone else to join cuz I want to be on 1 of each team. I'm open to who wants to be on my 2 man team, I'd figure Jared since a tank would be great to have. ENGUGH from me. _________________

I don't think there is any harm in forming a 3 person team, just seems like the make up for that team will probalby be the same as the 5 man team. Remember though, Arena PVP is set up to be the most beneficial if you do just a few matches per team per week. not dozens upon dozens to grind. Seems to me that we might as well be in 2, 3, and 5 person teams just to maximize our chances of doing well/earning good rewards/winning a season.
I would also like to name the 5 man team Mortal Coil. The name should be in the game somewhere. _________________

I shall be twitiching to horde for the expac. I believe I read somewhere that to be on an arena team you have to be lvl 70. It would make some sense since all the arena gear is lvl 70. Anyways, back on topic, I will be making a BE lock.
btw as for the suggestion for team name, how about myrmidon. _________________ Why run? You'll only die tired.

Yes Brian you have to be 70 before you can make teams and everyone has to be 70. It says it on the worldofwarcraft.com site. |
