I just can't bring myself to try UT anymore. I tried UT2k & it was terrible (thas jus teruble) compared to UT. I saw Heavy J playing the newest one. It was graphics heavy but the map he was on was straight from the original. I guess I'll have to look into this one more. _________________

Ryan and I both have it. He brought it for me for Christmas, because whempys is going to go to it in March.
Right now, I can't play it, the graphic power just isn't there in my computer yet. _________________ "Never fear, I is here!"

A UT sequel (after playing all but the last 2, including the standard Unreal's) means two things:
1) Graphics Upgrade...usually requiring hardware upgrade.
2) Smack a few new skins on a few old guns.
Other than those two things, stick with the original. Seriously...only vehicles really gave UT anything new, and IMO they were improperly balanced and not really fun like vehicles in, say, BF2.
Of course, if you're a fan of over-hyper fighting engines, you'd probably have a different opinion of the new UT's than I, who prefer slower, more realistic shooters. |

This means I'll be playing it the day after never.
Is it really any different from other UT games at all? I preferred the single player unreal games myself over the tournament ones, though unreal tournament 1 was fantastic. I didn't like any of the other ones nearly as much. _________________

Ok, Josh was over last night. I tried it for the first time since I went to 4Gb of RAM. and it ran ok, the graphic are still skippy but I am only running an ATI Radeon x1650pro (the suck). I will try it again once I have my ATI Radeon HD 3870 in a few weeks.
the video card is the only thing holding my computer back at the moment. _________________ "Never fear, I is here!"
