First...are the forums arranged differently? I went to the forums page, and didn't see the Events section or the ZAN only section. What gives?

Second, what kind of permissions do MC/IC members get other than the guild forums. Any? I ask because I believe Scott has access to at least our open forums as well (and he should), and I think Cas should have that access as well. If they already do, then great! I wanted to make sure, though.

That's all...now for something completely different.

I did some changes to the forum groups.

Naz group member only see what was originally here. They don't have access to the guild information.
MC/IC guild members have access to only guild related things including Guild Business
MC/IC guild recruits have the same access of guild members but without acces to Guild Business (this is simlar to SiH)
Calc Group has access to their hidden topics regarding the MVNUCalc project.

now you may be thinking, I am in Naz but I can see the guild information... the answer there is you are in more then one group so your access is based on both.

so someone in Naz and MC/IC members should see pretty much everything on the forum. (or at least that is what I am hoping it is doing)

if this isn't happening let me know.

after this redo of the group Cas and Scott don't have access to the originally general topics they would only have access to the Guild Topics.

I can add them to the Naz group to override this, if we want them to have access.

I would like to have access ot the guild topicts, since I am part of both guilds, and even if im not currently activley playing I would like to know whats going on, thanks.

No, I'm still not seeing the ZAN private, any of the events forums (dated or otherwise), and I don't have the personal information forum, either.

Basically, it looks like I might not be in the ZAN usergroup? Can ye check on that for me?

*Edit* It says I'm in the ZAN usergroup, it's just not acting like I am...puzzled am I!

Also, just fyi, I'm not advocating that we allow all IC/MC members full access, but when it comes to a select few, like Scott and Cas, I think they've been along for the haul with us enough to warrant access to some of the funny crap we post and our conversational forums.

I have fixed this issue. there was a group access issue.
