that is awesome... I am going to check these out for church... If there are a full 9V charge they would be awesome for wireless mics.
thanks for the link Dana. _________________ "Never fear, I is here!"

After exploring the site a little bit, I found out they only sell these in the UK right now... but if you go here:
http://usbcell.com/preorder?p=1
You can pre-order them and they'll let you know when they're available. _________________

Initially I'm concerned with several factors...
- How long is the average battery life?
- How compatable are they with "everything that takes AA". If they truly are comparable to 9v batteries, it could cause problems with certain small electric devices.
- What is the average life span? They will undoubtedly be more expensive than your typical rechargables (which are already expensive as-is). Even rechargable batteries have a certain life-span, and will quit taking charges in time. Does the USB technology help lengthen or shorten that lifespan?
- What types of cells will they use (aka Lithium-Ion, Nickel-Cadmium, etc.) This is very relevant to battery life in terms of charging to full power, and how often you need to completely deplete them of charge.
Very cool idea, but I'd like a little more info before I go popping them into my expensive equipment. |

awesome concept. I looked for that info Damin & didn't find it on their site. They are most likely too new to post. _________________
