Hmmmmm....

I like it alot, but the rest of the theme needs to change to match it, because it doesn't fit as well with the black/white/silver as the old one did.

One thing I wonder...would it look alright with the zAn filled in with green instead of hollow? Just thinking out loud. Very Happy

My problem with is was that until I read Adam's post, I didn't even notice it! The Green and black looks sharp, but since the rest of everything is so much brighter, it doesn't stand out at all...even if the forums aren't made to be green and black, perhaps some darker gray, or maybe even a dark red and black would look nice. Yellow would also look good, I think.

Just my two cents.

Truth...why Grant ever made it onto our money still eludes me. Of course, if I'm not mistaken, Grover Cleveland used to be on the $500 bill or something like that. As much as Grover Cleveland was a decent President by all I've ever heard...on our money?

Reagen will get his historical due, I'm sure. Once all the hippies die (read: Baby Boomers), people will start to realize just how good for the country he really was. I'm betting he'll get something, whether it be his face on a coin, a memorial, monument, garden, or his face on Rushmore (which is honestly what I'd like to see...). The airport doesn't count, either.

Cleveland probably only got thrown on that not-often seen banknote because he was president twice...

Interesting point of fact,

Cleveland was on the $1000 bill.
William McKinley was on the $500
James Madison was on the $5,000
Salmon P. Chase was on the $10,000
Woodrow Wilson was on the $100,000

The Wilson bills were solely gold exchange certificates, used for transactions from bank to bank within the Federal Government. These bills were green on the front, orange on the back, and are illegal to own.

All of these bills were phased out in 1979, during the Nixon years due to the advent of electronic transactions. The bills were obsolete, as the only private purpose usually served by such high denominations was organized crime. Apparently some of the $500 and $1000 bills are still out there, but most have been destroyed.
