Check out the HUGE jump in system requirements from XP to Vista... what the crap?!?

15 GIGS of hard drive space ... for the OPERATING SYSTEM?
128mb of graphics memory required.... for the OPERATING SYSTEM?
1 GIG of RAM .... for the OPERATING SYSTEM??

I shudder to think what the requirements for games under this OS will eventually be...

14 Gig RAM
900 Gig HD

Could much of that extra space be for their new media system? I can't say I'm exactly 'excited' about Vista, but it might be worth playing with.

I'll stick with xp until it's more viable to switch up. Xp is, after all, the most stable windows since 98.

BAHHH! Curse Microsoft! Has anyone noticed how they make a new OS, then it forces everyone to spend a bunch of $$$ on new hardware & software support &^@%#%??? Not to mention all the headaches it's gonna cause when hackers find a 10-fold increase in security flaws to exploit. It's all a big scam.
