Thinking about getting a digital camera and I want some input. Here's one I found at Best Buy. _________________ Είναι όλα τα ελληνικά σε με

I dunno too much about them... the last digital camera I got took 640x480 and 800x600 photos. _________________

Dodd just looking at the one you posted... Plan on taking all you picture at close range... because with out optical zone, you can't take picture at a distances.
OR use a tripod and hope the 5x digital does make the picture grainie. _________________ "Never fear, I is here!"

Well I have no idea what I should be looking for in a digital camera except for the best megapixel I can get. What are the things I really should be looking for? _________________ Είναι όλα τα ελληνικά σε με

Like Jared said, an optical zoom is definitely a plus... digital zoom uses software to try & "zoom in" by doubling the pixels, which makes photos look blurry or grainy. Optical zoom is when the lens of the camera actually zooms out to enlarge stuff in the distance.
OfficeMax was selling an Olympus 7.1megapixel camera for $199 a few weeks ago, dunno if that sale is still going on... it didn't have the zoom though. _________________

i,m looking at getting the olympus stylus 600 when i kan afford it... it is only like $220 and is 6 megapixels... but i might hold out for the 700 series to drop in price...
the stylus is weather proof... and u can even take pictures underwater up to so many feet.... and i think the 710 is shock proof up to so many feet so if you drop it.. it,s all good... |
