|
A friend of mine is trying to install Windows Defender to help protect her computer against spyware and all that hoop la but it's telling her she has an invalid F drive. She doesn't have an F drive so I'm assuming some windows error. I searched online to try and find a solution to her problem and found this.
Assuming F is the drive it's telling you is invalid . . .
click start, then run, then type cmd
hit enter
then type subst f: c:\windows
hit enter
I've never ran what's it's saying to run so I'm just wondering if it's safe to do? _________________ Είναι όλα τα ελληνικά σε με

I believe it is setting F: to look at C:\windows when the program tries to access it. But I don't know for sure. _________________ "Never fear, I is here!"
