So here's the new deal on Steam:

That's right, one of the best games ever made and it's supposedly mediocre expansion for only $7!
Since I never actually bought the expansion, I definitely dropped the dough on this. If you've never played the game before, it's worth it!!!

I played it some. I'll probably pick it up. Assassin's Creed is only $10 this weekend too. I got it as well.

game wasnt too bad. i liked how you could add marvel toons to it also. creed would be a good buy too.

I checked all my game backups, and found all my Marvel/DC models and skins!!!!

Alex and I spent a little time last night building a Sentinel and Galactus...fun stuff!

I bought the second one when it came out. The multiplayer mode is much better than the first one.
you need to check it out damin You can use the same characters you've created in the first one and use it in the second.

The problem we had in the first one in mulitplayer has been fixed. We can use one char. at a time and as one dies the next of the four takes it's place.

This is why Steam is awesome beyond a convenient way to deliver game content - its become a collection point for games old and new, and you can often get old on the cheap.

I never got around to playing the equal for Freedom Force so I definitely picked the package up for that! And Assassins Creed looks interesting enough to try someday that I got it as well.

Now, if only I could by more time from Steam to play all these games they keep putting on sale...

Will do. Right now I only have the skins/models (which is enough to start with), so you'll have to actually "create" all the heroes, give them stats, powers, etc. However, once I finish creating them all again, I'll post the hero files as well, so someone not particularly inclined to go through 100 character creations can have them.

I borrowed FF from Damin for a couple months when we had the apartment -- it was ok, but not really my cup o' tea.

Since it takes Damin so long to do things...I decided to go find my own skins to use for the game however I'm a noob and can't really figure out how to properly install them. I guess I'll sit on my hands a little long waiting.

Oh, and you may actually find much better ones than I have, Adam...mine are quite old.

And I found my hero files, so if you like the way I "built" them all, they're ready to go.
