must have been an error. i only posted that once. Old Republic sounds fascinating. Bio Ware style acting and choices which affect how your character develops and reacts to other players and even receives drops. i can't say no to that. i just may not be playing from day 1 unless its amazing.

I did read the whole thing, it sounds interesting. Not sure if I want to play it, though. Like most games, they go to great length describing the combat system but when it comes to player economy, crafting, exploring, etc., they give the standard: "oh yeah, that's in there too, and you'll love it."

The thing that attracted me most to SWG was the crafting & start-your-own-business system. You could specialize in so many things under the old 33-profession system w/ skill trees. Yeah, there was lots of grinding, but in the end it was worth it, because you could literally run your own little "company" in-game and be successful at it. Then you add SWG's awesome player community system (good chat engine, HUGE emote listing, social areas, player cities, player housing, entertainer buffs, etc) where players are actually *encouraged* to get together and interact in a non-instanced way, and you've got a game that will keep you coming back time after time.

I hope SWTOR has all that, but I'm not holding my breath.
