Anyone else see it? Thoughts?

I liked it a lot. It takes place between 2 & 3 so the time line isn't being messed with (thank the Lord) & they have some great actors. Lena Headey is great a Sarah. Keeps the feel of Linda Hamilton's role but makes it her own. Thomas Dekker makes John Conor believable as a teenager & Summer Glau makes a really kool Terminator sent back to protect John. She seems to be an upgraded model as she can show emotion and her POV is much more realistic looking (where as the evil T-800 male model has the classic red POV & is a little ridged).

I guess the 4th Terminator moive, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is due out in '09 & this will transition into that. I really liked it. It had the same feel as Terminator 2. It was done well. I'm not sure where the story is going to go other than running from Terminators all the time but it should be a nice way to explain what happened to Sarah Conor since that was never mentioned in the third movie.

I saw it... I thought it was awesome. I like the terminator series as a hold. An since the TV series is inbetween the movie, it has a chance to give alot of information about what was missing the the 3rd movie (like Adam already state). It was good to see something we hadn't seen in the movies in the first show.

I'm going to give this one a season not to suck. Not that I think it will, but I have enough tv to watch already, and Terminator has never interested me aside from the couple hours' diversion.

I'd probably be more interested if it were storywise after T3...I just never found Sara that fascinating a character. If the season goes well, though, I'll have Alex d/l it for me Smile

Dana...I have it DVR'd yo. You can come see it sometime. I'll be taping tonights as well. So just come watch them both sometime this week.

It works out schedule wise too. 8 is Gladiators & 9 is RAW & Terminator. As long as Heroes isn't on at 9 whenever it returns then we are good. Not that it really matters. I don't watch much stuff LIVE anymore. I watch football live & I'll probably catch Terminator live but other than that I tape everything. I hate commercials & Ry is never home, lol.

Honestly, the IDEAS were good, and the beginning TOTALLY ROCKED!!!! "....it begins NOW..." BOOOMMM!!! YAYAAYAYAYAYA - - FIRE- FIRE!!!!!!

But honesty I wasn't sold on the acting. I thought it was kinda lame-o. I like what they're doing w/the female Terminator, but.... something was just off (made for TV syndrome???) Well, John was good, but this is gonna have to grow on me for a while.

Oh, the naked-time-warp-in-the-highway scene.... hilarious!

I ended up watching the pilot on fox.com before the 2nd episode tonight, so I'm caught up. I'm still jazzed that they made River Tam (Summer Glau from Firefly) the new Terminat(rix) Smile
