After finally seeing the REAL trailer I can say I'm excited about this movie. This year is proving to be an excellent movie year.....at least so far.

It kinda makes sense that they would have to change Megatron a little more significantly than Optimus. For one, he actually had a face in the cartoon, instead of just a plate over his mouth. That would kinda look silly in CG, I think.

Second, he transformed into a freakin pistol with a shoulder stock. I haven't looked into it yet, but I sincerely hope that's not the case for the movie, because even when I was 4 I thought that was pretty lame. So changes to Megatron are welcome for me.

I still can't get past the thought that Bumblebee isn't a VW. That really makes no sense to me.

Other than that, I'm awaiting the movie eagerly, although I do think this is one franchise they could really ruin if they don't try hard enough.

Damin they used a diffrent form that megatron had in past comics/cartoons. He is going to be a tank if I read the post on the Transformer movie site correctly.

I already read an article that said Megatron wont transform into a pistol just because it just wouldn't be that sound. It said it was going to be good but they weren't giving out any hints.

LOL.... yeah, the VW was ok for the cartoon, but if they're gonna make a movie, he needs to be something a little more powerful/sporty. Sorry, but a Bug just doesn't cut it....
