Okay, so I just totally marked out.

The Rock's promo for Wrestlemania was fantastic, and I literally cheered. Judging by the crowd reaction just to the promo, had he been able to actually show up in the arena, they would have totally blown apart the reaction that Austin got last week.

Why the FREAKING HELL can they not find someone with that kind of charisma anymore? They let Chris Jericho get away, and he was (in my humble opinion) the closest person in mic skill they've ever had. That's not to say he was AS good...far from it, but he was the closest.
I think that goes to show that in-ring work really takes second seat to mic work and acting ability. As far as I'm concerned, I'll take Rock over Austin/Hogan/Brett any day. (Odd how Angle remains my personal favorite, though)

Okay, play by play time, now that I'm writing this post and watching RAW at the same time. TWGTT and DX are wrestling. I really think it's time for the tag titles to go to a tag team again...how will it turn out?

Interesting...Cena and HBK are in the corner usually assinged to heel teams...uh oh, TWGTT is gone. Why were they first? Aren't they really the biggest team on RAW? Oh well, this is a great opportunity for them to put the tag belts bag on a TAG TEAM. I'm actually banking on Crime Tyme, though I don't really like that.

Wait...a cage finish? This is kinda gay...I hope whatever team is last beats them. Only Crime Tyme, Highlanders and MNM have a shot...and the first two I don't really like...but que sera' sera'...it's better than a non-tag duo...Well...MnM...I think the champs will retain, since SD can't really stand to lose Mercury to RAW too...

I was right. That was sucky. I realize they can't make either Cena or HBK look weak, but still...gay with a captial G.

Edge is the best heel in the company...dang, he's good. His sticking up for "racism issues" is great heel work. Absolutely fantastic. Hell, I'll even go so far as to say that when you combine ring work with mic work, Edge is best in the company by far. Scary, huh? Considering we all absolutely hated him 2 years ago...oh, here's Kane, to further perpetuate a shitty angle...He's got a hook...PH33R H1M!

I was just thinking a couple weeks ago who the manager entrant into the hall of fame would be. I totally got it right...Mr. Fuji. Well deserved. Congrats, eggroll.

Farooq...you are the man. Way to make something good out of a mundane segment. BTW, haven't found Ashley's new playboy photos yet, but that's okay, the old ones are easily found...oh, I'm not supposed to know about those? Oh, okay...Ryan Mackenzie...

I love Melina's screaming...almost as much as I love her...

Ashely just did a pretty decent spear...suprising...

No women's match has ever come close to when Trish and Lita headlined that one episode of RAW years ago. It was certainly the best womens match ever.

WTF???? HBK vs. JBL? How weird is that? And Cena vs. Benoit? Some good matches for nex week, although I really REALLY hate to see JBL and Benoit get buried. It almost makes me sad, because those two should be on top of the industry right now.

Vince...you're an ass...but you're so damn good at it...

I HATE contract signings as main events. That said...I kinda like Donald Trump being involved with WM. It adds an element of real-world legitimacy that K-Fed just couldn't provide. (Read into that statment however you will).

Lashley is actually credible as RAW Mark 3 champion...uhm...I mean ECW champ. I think it's a good move for him, in the end.

Geez...how long has it been since we've seen Austin and The Rock on the same show? 4 years at least...

You know, after watching this segment, I really think the ONLY person who could ever induct Steve Austin into the Hall of Fame is Vince himself. It really just makes sense...Come to think of it, though...who would induct the Rock? I can't think of anyone who would really make it work...except perhaps Hogan. That would be kinda odd, but might work.

Well, suprisingly, this was a well-done segment, though not deserving of the main event of RAW. LOL, Vince PWN'D by teh Trump! I'm actually impressed, that wasn't bad.

I can't believe I just reviewed the entire RAW as I watched it...sucky, st00pid Heroes hiatus. St00pid NBC.

As soon as I saw the video tape of a guy reading the LA Times, I blurted out "SWEEET, ROCK!"

Surprised me more people didn't start cheering before he showed his face... maybe they couldn't hear it that well?

Anyway, I hope that little promo gave Rock a serious itch to come back, if even for a few weeks. As much fun as it probably was to get into character again, he was still in his house -- no crowd. Hopefully he'll scratch that itch if it comes along...

First off, RAW was pretty meh (as always) the end segment was dragged out to the point of boredum.

Side note, the TNA PPV Sun was pretty decent, same crap is wrong with TNA as always but the show was entertaining for the most part. I was totally into Christain vs Joe...awesome match.

ANYWAY...I marked out for the Rock. I knew it was him behind the paper but was very dissapointed he didn't just show up in person. Oh well.

Damin to answer your question about why no one is as charasmatic as the Rock? SIMPLE! Wrestling isn't run the way it used to be. The wrestlers have very little say in their characters and therefore (in MY opinion) arn't as passionate about it as people like Rock, Austin, Jericho, etc. Those guys got to do their own thing but now....now hippi soap oprah writers do the character building & most of it (85% or so) sucks.

This is why I feel that the wreslting that I knew & loved is dead. I want TNA to bring it back & most of the people in TNA want to as well but they just can't. Its unfortunate but I shall forever hope that it returns.
